If you've ever purchased tiles for a kitchen or bathroom renovation project, chances are you've also agonized over which color grout goes best with your new tiles.
Traditionally, grout companies had in-store sample kits of 3-inch aluminium channels filled with each color of grout in their palette to help you make your choice. You would place the channel between the tiles to evaluate how well the colors worked together. These channels were saddled with problems: they were fragile, costly to produce, and generated a lot of dust. Also, the kits, which comprised 30 to 40 of these color samples, were heavy, and because the samples broke so often, were frequently incomplete.
Then Plasticase came along with a solution (pictured here).
