Plasticase initially began in 1984 under the name Resentel. After the company's ownership was restructured in 1996, a more focused and client-driven company called Plasticase was formed. Since the introduction of its first design, Plasticase has made millions of plastic cases and sold them all over the planet. At first paralleling the success and trend created by Swatch (plastic watches made in Switzerland), the 639 attachecase made its debut as a fashion accessory sold as a cool 'must have' school case for students and young adults through upscale department stores, trendy gift museum shops and fashion accessory boutiques.
From this first single 639 attachecase case designed by well-known industrial designer Michel Dallaire, the line has grown to more sizes and styles adapted to a wider variety of users and markets, culminating the 2001 introduction of the eagerly anticipated 640 techcase, and the arrival in 2002 of two new cases wholly designed at Plasticase, the 641 mini_kitcase and the 642 kitcase.
Today, Plasticase's focus is on the B2B relationship providing carrying solutions to businesses in need of packaging cases, equipment cases, demo cases, medical equipment cases, etc. Corporate users are finding Plasticase's products ideally suited for carrying samples, training material, meeting or convention papers, tools and equipment, electronic instruments or personal effects.
That's not all: Plasticase has the in-house ability to provide custom solutions for companies pioneering new ways of providing value for their customers.
Plasticase's state of the art production facilities and multidisciplinary teams include specialists from fields including industrial design, tool design and mold making, graphic design and manufacturing engineering.
